Originating from the UK: Winston has been a resident of the Central Coast for over 20 yrs. He had his house music spiritual enlightenment over 30 years ago in a field in Glastonbury when he stumbled into the dance music tent and the rest, we’ll say is history.
Arriving on these fair shores – Winston held down residencies at Dragonfly and YU in the early 2000’s including being invited to play on Ministry of Sounds tour in Australia.
He released music with Yoddy on over 15 records labels including VinylPusher, Mark Dynamix label: Long Distant Recordings, Mercury, 2Delicious and Subsonic to name but a few.
He recorded with “Caroline” – Princes backing singer and unfortunately produced “cory Worthington’s” first hit track which led to an iTunes number one. He also Remixed hot artists across Australia such as The Celebrity Drug Disasters with international DJ’s regularly playing their tracks such as Stonebridge and Mark Dynamix.
Closer to home he played regularly at the legendary One Fine Day Parties at Key Largo in the Naughties, warmed up for everyone from Sneak Sound System, The Aston Shuffle and Andy Van. To running his own club night at the now long forgotten but renowned Pulse in Gosford.
More recently he has started his life long dream; getting a record label up and running TikiHAUS Records where he has successful reissued the Winston and Yoddy back catalogue and hot new releases with good friend and amazing dj Ferrero. The aim for the label is to showcase great new talent on the coast and give back a little. You’ll hear Winston monthly introducing and occasionally playing on the Central Coast House Music Collective as well as assisting to get the crew and new friends together on the dancefloor as we all grow old disgracefully.
